Sublimes Cigars

Sublime Cigars were once a very small boutique brand only sold in South Florida. In 2011 they started to branch out nationally and the cigar smoking public is glad they did. In 2015, the Robusto Extra size for this small company was ranked as the #25 cigar by Cigar Aficionado magazine. Made in Nicaragua, Sublime is filled with Habano Nicaraguan tobacco, bound in a Habano Nicaraguan leaf, and wrapped in a deep brown Habano Ecuadorian Rosado wrapper. (See more popular Nicaraguan cigars) Despite being filled to the brim with Nicaraguan tobacco, Sublime sits right in the middle at a medium body. The beauty in this cigar is in its complexity. Even though it is primarily one type of tobacco, the blenders usage of different parts of the plant truly shows many different characteristics. What starts out as having a leather note and earth, reaches an apex of spice halfway through. At first you are greeted with a creaminess that is not expected but melds perfectly. Sublime cigars may not have been on your radar before, but after you smoke one, it is definitely something you will find box worthy. Perfectly medium body, this is a cigar that will pair well with just about anything.
