Luminosa Cigars

Luminosa is a cigar from the well-known boutique powerhouse Crowned Heads, made in collaboration with the one and only Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. Produced in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera La Alianza, Luminosa is a bit different than the majority of cigars bearing the Crowned Heads trademark, as it resides on the milder side of the spectrum. That was the idea, in fact, according to Crowned Heads co-founder Jon Huber. They wanted something more approachable and versatile, rather than the more robust cigars the brand has come to be known for. Luminosa wears a golden Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper leaf on a Nicaraguan binder and filler. Luminosa is quite the cigar for any connoisseur seeking something light, pleasant, and highly-refined that won't break the bank. Golden brown in color and somewhat rustic in overall appearance, Luminosa is finished with an interesting orange band featuring what appears to be native artwork in the background.
