The treasure is not just the chest though but also the wonderful smokes inside. The toothy Nicaraguan wrapper is extremely aromatic of freshly cut grass and earthiness, while the pre light draw seems slightly loose. Despite this the cigar smokes very cool and slow, which is a good thing or the power behind the tobaccos could overwhelm. Taste of cedar and earth mixed with a slight spice but nothing overpowers the wonderful natural tobacco taste found within the leaves. Gurkha Warlord is a special cigar and one not to be taken lightly. Without a full meal, this cigar will definitely cause you to want to take a seat. After a nice dinner with a good strong espresso is where this cigar really shines. If you love a nice full-bodied smoke, The Gurkha Warlord would be a great stick to add to your rotation.
