Gurkha 125th Anniversary

Gurkha owner Kaizad Hansotia dates the name being associated with cigars back 125 years, and for this incredible anniversary a special cigar was needed to celebrate. When Gurkha sets out to make a special stick, the eyes of the cigar world take notice. The 125th Anniversary Gurkha cigar is certainly something to celebrate. Named the 9th best cigar of 2013 by Cigar Aficionado, this standout cigar is made in the PDR factory in the Dominican Republic. A truly international blend of Nicaraguan, Brazilian, and Dominican filler tobaccos and bound with a Ecuadorian leaf and wrapped in a beautiful Brazilian wrapper. While the Brazilian wrapper has a somewhat dry appearance, the construction was impeccable and there was no veining to speak of. Before lighting there is an almost citrus aroma of orange and this carried over to the flavor afterward. On top of this tantalizing note, there was also great tastes of leather and spice. 125 years in the cigar industry is something to be very Proud of, and Gurkha has made a perfect cigar to celebrate. Gurkha's 125 Anniversary cigar is an amazing medium-to-full smoke with very complex flavors and fantastic construction.
