Released in Europe with the Cabinet Series at the end of 2014, the E.P. Carrillo New Wave Reserva is slowly making its way stateside as well. This great new release from the mind that brought us La Gloria Cubana is a fantastic medium-bodied smoke worthy of the famed brand name. Much like the original New Wave cigars from Carrillo this cigar uses the same flawless Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. Just like all cigars by E.P. Carrillo, the New Wave Reserva is made with the utmost of quality and consistency. Flavor notes of spice and cedar will dance across your tongue before flame is even introduced. The black pepper spice is quickly subdued after lit, and plays off the natural earthiness within the filler leaves. The perfect burn ensures that each puff is giving you the exact taste of each and every leaf in this fantastic blend. E.P. Carrillo New Wave Reserva was originally released in Europe, but we are glad it is coming to the American marketplace. Each puff is exactly what one should expect from a medium-bodied cigar.
