Diesel Unlimited

Following the success of his Unholy Cocktail and Shorty, AJ Fernandez brings us the Diesel Unlimited cigar. The Diesel Unlimited cigar brings us long filler leaf from Nicaragua and Mexico while wrapping this bad boy, we have a Ecuadorian Habano. This Ecuadorian Habano Ligero is an awfully pretty shade reminiscent of a well-worn brown leather chair. The wrapper has a small bit of tooth that screams, "grip me." Like the Unholy Cocktail, the Unlimited gets one simple, effective, no frills band wrapped around the foot of the cigar. The Diesel Unlimited is a full flavored, full bodied cigar. The 1st third brings us intense pepper with a spicy sweet tang that I just can't place. This Unlimited is well packed and burns slow. I made the mistake of trying to smoke it fast and it became bitter. So I purged and slowed down to fix that problem. The 2nd third brings a pepper spice bomb that takes me by surprise. The ash is medium gray and holds well. The smoke production so far has been great and the draw is perfect with my punch. The last third down to the nub brings a peppercorn encrusted meaty steak flavor to the table. At this point, I'm just wondering if AJ Fernandez can do anything wrong. The Diesel Unlimited has superb construction, no burn issues, great flavors, excellent body, and an unbelievably low price, making this a great cigar for experienced smokers. Newer smokers should stick to the Unholy Cocktail for now. It has less body and won't leave you with "the spins."
