CAO Cameroon Toro Cigars Originally crafted in 1999 as part of CAO's L'Anniversaire line to celebrate the company's 30th anniversary, CAO Cameroon Toro is worthy of such a prestigious occasion. A surprising medium bodied cigar considering the Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos, the true flavor comes from the African Cameroon wrapper. Reddish in hue, the characteristic spiciness comes through right away. The extreme balance of the filler mixed with the wrapper is one of the many reasons CAO Cameroon received a 92 rating from Cigar Aficionado. The simple gold band has an elegant look, perfect for a cigar celebrating such a momentous anniversary in the cigar business. Rigidly square-pressed, the burn and draw were perfect. The flavor is top notch as well. Cigars with a Cameroon wrapper have a very ardent fanbase, and this stick is sure to please the most discerning. Tangy and spicy are two words that immediately came to mind as soon a we took the first puff. The 5 1/2" x 55 toro size is chock full of flavor and great size to explore CAO Cameroon. CAO was nice enough to extend an invitation to celebrate their 30th anniversary in the form of their Cameroon line of cigars, and honestly it was the best invitation we ever received. A medium cigar which never distracts from the flavor of the star, its wrapper, CAO Cameroon is a fantastic add to any humidor. Complimenting this cigar in the L'Anniversaire line is the CAO Maduro.
