The F stands for Fuerte, or strong, and honestly there is no better word to describe this little powerhouse of a cigar. Made in Nicaragua by Oliva, the strength comes from a very unique filler blend of three different Nicaraguan Ligero tobaccos. Bound by a Nicaraguan leaf and wrapped in a gorgeous Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, Cain F Nub is one heck of a Nicaraguan Puro that will make you re-think any other cigar you once considered full bodied. The Cain F remains a standout in the portfolio, having secured an impressive 92 rating from Cigar Aficionado for its masterful balance of potency and flavor. As with all Cain and Nub cigars, the band is uniquely on the foot of this beautiful smoke. The wrapper is a sultry chocolate hue and despite having very prominent veins, the construction is amazing. While it is small in stature, Cain's full-bodied nature will hit you before you even torch the foot. A definite peppery aroma is present from the get go, and it never ceases from beginning to end. The luscious smoke that fills your mouth will grace your palate with notes of leather and cedar but the spice is what overtakes everything on the finish. Cain F Nub may not be for everyone, but if you really enjoy a very full-bodied cigar and aren't afraid of a stick which will bite you back, you are going to be in for a real treat.
